Was wird gespeichert

English
What is stored
KongressKit is an internal tool for a closed sales team to plan and document conference/congress attendance. When you create an account and use the app, the following data is stored:
- Account data: email address and display name (used for sign-in and to identify you within your team).
- Team membership: which team you belong to and your role in it (admin or member, plus individual permission flags such as "may add conferences").
- Conference attendance: which conferences you have planned to attend or attended, including status (planned / attended / cancelled).
- Notes and ratings: your own notes and 1–5 star ratings for conferences you attended. These are visible to everyone on your team, and to no one outside your team.
- Optional agenda PDFs: if you upload a PDF agenda for a conference, it is stored (the alternative – and the app's preferred path – is a link to the conference's official website).
The app collects no location data, no third-party contact data, no payment information, and no usage or tracking analytics (no analytics SDK is included).
Where the data is stored
All data is held on Google Firebase (Authentication + Firestore), in the EU
region eur3 (data centers in the Netherlands and Finland). There is no separate
server and no other third-party infrastructure – Firebase is the app's only backend
component.
How long the data is kept
- Account data, team membership, attendance records, notes, and ratings persist until you delete your account, or an admin removes you from the team.
- Agenda PDFs are automatically deleted once the associated conference is more than 18 months in the past. The rest of the conference record – name, dates, your notes and rating – is unaffected and remains.
Account deletion
You can delete your own account at any time: Settings → Delete Account ("Konto löschen" in the German UI). This permanently deletes your user account, your team membership, and all of your personal attendance records, notes, and ratings.
